Suggested Itinerary:

  • The Salamanca markets is arguably one of the top markets in the country with over 300 stalls you could easily spend a whole morning here.
  • After walking through the market I’d definitely have some lunch from one of the stalls. Take your pick on where you’d like to eat either by the wharf or take a short stroll towards Battery Point where you’ll find Princess Park which is also great for kids and has more amazing views to offer.
  • The Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery is only a short 10 minute walk away, located in Dunn Pl, Hobart. You can spend the next hour looking through history and top it off with an ice cream from Mures located just across the road along the wharf.
