Cascade Brewery

Visit Australia’s oldest brewery, established in 1824. Offering a range of beers and alcoholic ciders that can be enjoyed in the Cascade Brewery House. Enjoy the option of a tour through the historic brewery opening from 10am-5pm every day of the week. Experience the chance to see some of Australia’s best loved premium beers.  The surrounding gardens are beautiful to walk through on a sunny day, alongside some lunch and beer tasting in the brewhouse.

Suggested Itinerary:

• Enjoy a walk along the Hobart Rivulet starting on Collins street where you’ll find the car park. This walk will take you to the Cascade Gardens and is roughly a distance of 2.7 km which will take anywhere up to an hour.
• The Cascade Gardens are situated opposite the Cascade Brewery where there is an option for you to take a tour of the Brewery or just sit in at the bar and have lunch and/or a beer tasting.
• Enjoy the walk back through the rivulet and if you’re up to it, the City Centre is only a short walk away if your feeling like some retail therapy to finish off the day.
